Wall Street Journal review of "Walk the Walk"

The Wall Street Journal's review of my new book, "Walk the Walk" called it "an engaging reminder of some leadership basics that aren't necessarily taught in business school."

  1. Deutschman's book is ultimately about TRUST. When the actions of a leader consistently fit the words, it sends a powerful, trustworthy signal about what is important to that leader ... and therefore what behavior will be "rewarded and received." The WSJ article ended with the comment that the leader still has to "deliver." True -- and the route some leaders take to win doesn't always work. However, breaking trust ALWAYS has bad consequences.
